The Rain Wizard features an attractive faux oak barrel design so it naturally fits in with your landscape. The included diverter is a simple two-piece plastic design that fits in-line with your existing 2x3-in downspout. A 6' vinyl tube then transports water straight to the barrel and also works as an overflow to send excess water back to the downspout. There's even an included "winter plug" that replaces the tube when you no longer need or use the barrel and it returns the downspout to regular operation.
These rain barrels are tough. While most barrels will crack or become brittle in the wintertime, the Rain Wizard 50 will stay strong. It is still recommended that you drain your barrels when temperatures approach the freezing point.
